Since my last post was pretty depressing, I thought I would share a few moments from 2024 that altered my brain chemistry and made me so so happy🥹😍✨🫶🏾!!! I think it’s really easy to focus on all of the hard and the “bad” but it’s important to take a moment to count every single blessing.

Also, I’m so sad but Instagram only lets you tag 20 people so a lot of people that I love are not tagged sorry Fam I love you guys.

There are 3 days left in 2024 and I’m honestly so thrilled to say goodbye to this year 👋🏾😅. I’m typically the one sharing the highlight reels and screaming from the mountaintops how amazing the year was, but this year felt ridiculously hard in many ways. I saw a meme the other day that quite literally summed up 2024 perfectly for me (check out the last slide for a little chuckle 🤪).

The last time I felt this tested in my faith was probably 2008/2009, but even then, in the dark night and in the struggle God never left me. Thankfully, I can feel it in my bones that the tides are beginning to turn. I saw a quote earlier this Fall that said “Some years you win, some years build character.” In many ways I won. I’m healthy, my family is healthy- we are alive and well but in other ways, I have felt defeat, a little lost and as the year comes to an end, pretty exhausted. Transitions & unanticipated growth all stink, but are all apart of the process. All of these things are necessary for that next level of greatness. There is greatness inside of all of us & we are capable of leveling up. There is more… 😌

For anyone else who felt like 2024 took them out, know that you’re not alone. I am rooting for you and I am believing for you and with you, that 2025 will be incredibly restorative, healing & cause you to forget the discomfort & trials that 2024 had to offer. THE BEST IS YET TO COME 🫶🏾!!! #LetsDoThis
