Happy Friday everyone!!! Happy to share another coffee date with you all this month.  Today I wanted to share some life updates that I am really excited about, but first I thought I would tell you all what I actually order for coffee.  I go to Starbucks way more than I want to admit.  Having said that, I ALWAYS get a tall or grande almond milk latte with 2-3 pumps of sugar free cinnamon dulce depending on the size.  What do you all order?!! Now on to our date!

  • Last month I shared how I was in my 4th week of my job.  I am so excited because as a department we voted on our current schedules and are going to be working 4 ten hour shifts.  This will allow me to have an extra day off during the week which will be an absolute luxury.  Currently, like most people who work a 9-5 I only have weekends off.  It has been so difficult to get things accomplished.  I am SO excited to have a day off to be with the kids, run errands, do shoots and get the house in order! This schedule starts next week!!

  • My birthday is a month away and I just happened to be asked to join a ministry trip the same week of my birthday.  This one is in Las Vegas! I have never been before and neither has Ben so he is coming!! I will lead worship one night and then stay for a two day extension to explore and just hang out with Ben! He just finished up a grueling semester of school so we are so overdue for a little getaway!!  If any of you have suggestions on where to eat and what to do please share in the comments below!!

  • This is my 4th week of running pretty consistently! I am working uptown 18 miles a week.  I have steadily gone from 10 to 12… I am on 15 miles this week and I may even hit 18.  I would like to do that consistently for a few weeks and then add in some solid weight training.  4 years ago I lost 30 pounds eating clean, running and lifting weights.  I am on a journey to get in the best shape of my life! It is really tempting to look back at photos and get really discouraged about where I used to be and where I am now.  I just keep looking ahead and celebrating little victories! I feel really, really good!! In addition to running I have cut out grains 95% of the time.  My body responds really well to a grain free diet.  I also have been drinking more water which I was horrible at!! I will keep you all posted on my fitness journey!

  • SCHOOL IS OUT!!!! Gahhh!! I cannot scream loud enough.  When I started my job full time in April, we embarked on the most insane juggling act with the kids that I have ever been on.  They are all on different schedules, different schools as well as Ben being in school and working full time.  We have spent SO MUCH money on childcare and have had so many moving pieces and hiccups along the way.  It has been a long month and a half and I am so glad it is over.  We are so excited that all 3 kiddos will be at the same school next year and we are also praying that my parents will be here by then to help out with all the juggling!! This season is INSANE but I wouldn’t trade it for anything!! These babies are growing fast!!

On to this FABULOUS dress!! The price point on this dress is a little higher than what I typically spend, but it is AMAZING.  It is one of those pieces that will be in my closet for a long time.  The material is high quality and the print and color is timeless.  I paired it with these really cute mules that are my new favorites!!
