In all honesty, I am not sure how long these faux fur items will be appropriate here in California! For the past week it has been in the mid- 70’s, which I am by no means complaining about. It still makes me cringe when I hear my friends and family back home talk about the negative temperatures and the heaps of snow on the ground. The winter back home in CT has been relentless and brutal. I really don’t miss it!! Being born in Jamaica, I was made for the warmer weather. Needless to say, I still grabbed this vest for myself and the coat for Savannah. We may get a weeks’ worth or more out of it until its way to hot, but I got a size bigger for Savannah and there is always next year!! Not to mention, the price was right and I was not leaving the store without them!
I had seen this vest way back in the beginning of the season for nearly 40.00. I got it on clearance last week for 8.98! Score!!! Savannah’s coat was originally around 30.00 and I got it at the same time for 11.98. Yay!!! She will fit in it next year as well. One thing I have learned about Target is to never pay full price for clothing unless you are absolutely desperate. If it is meant to be, then it will be on the clearance rack in two, three and sometimes four weeks down the road marked down significantly.
To all my east coast friends, praying this spring speeds up for you all and the temps quickly rise! I know y’all are done with that cold and snow!! I know I would be. Until next time, much love!!
