{…The Evidence Of Things Not Seen}

On Sunday I was singing this line at church with such confidence and assurance from the stage “You’re never gonna let, never gonna let me down”.  I proclaimed these words, because I knew that they were true and I danced in joy and thankfulness at the goodness of our God.  No sooner, I start my week and I am challenged in the area of my faith.  I began trying to come up with solutions, make plans, make things happen.  I believe wholeheartedly that there are times to act and do, and then there are times to wait, pray and just trust.  In the midst of my fear and my lack of faith in the moment, I heard God say so clearly… ” Be still and know that I am God.”(Psalm 46:10)  In other words, let me do what I know best to do and leave all your cares and concerns to me.  All of a sudden peace rushed over me like a river and I began to rest.  My circumstances remain the same but the truth is that God has never let me down.  He will come through this time, just like he has 1 million times past.  I just wanted to encourage someone that may be in my boat.  I am realizing that faith really isn’t faith unless you have to use it. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

In other news.. haha! The outfit pictured below was scooped up at the cutest boutique here in  Midtown Sacramento.  The owner also has locations in East Sacramento and Davis.  I had the lovely privilege of spending the afternoon with the girls over at the Rire Boutique midtown location.  The girls are the sweetest and were so helpful as I was shopping.  My biggest observation in this boutique was the high quality items at an affordable price.  I was shocked at the great prices and wide selection.  What I also loved was that they incorporate local artists and jewelers in their merchandise.  It is so important to me that we support one another in our efforts and dreams.

I had to have this white laced top.  Lace is my absolute favorite and you can wear it year round and with multiple things!  I was just telling one of my friends that I needed a black skirt.  This skirt is the perfect length with a soft material and elastic waist.  Just in time for Fall.  I strongly encourage you to check out one of their locations if you get the chance!
