2024 was definitely not my favorite year 🤪 but

2024 was definitely not my favorite year 🤪 but it’s not over yet! If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I unashamedly share my faith, and talk a lot about just how good God is. This year I really had to put my faith to work & my belief in what God can actually do was constantly tested.

I’m sharing this post today to hopefully encourage someone who’s in a similar situation— waiting on God to perform some massive miracles. He is able✨ He has carried all of us to this point in this year and we’ve made it this far. He’s not finished with us yet, and He is capable of doing the impossible. I’m still waiting for God to answer some prayers that I’ve prayed over a thousand times 🙏🏾

I believe that this month can be a month of miracles for many of us, even after a tumultuous year. If you’re in the same boat, drop a comment or emoji below, so I can pray for you, and we can believe in faith together that we are going into 2025 with HOPE & victory 💪🏾😌🤍

This past week I had the privilege of attending Me

This past week I had the privilege of attending Metas smart screen event in San Francisco, California at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. The main focus of the event was to share more information on the new teen accounts that Instagram now provides! This was so intriguing to me as we have just allowed Ava, or 15-year-old to get her own Instagram account just this past summer.

New Teens will start to automatically be placed in Teen Accounts. This feature has built-in limits on who can contact them, content they view, and more ways to connect and explore their interests. Although these protections are turned on automatically, parents decide if teens under 16 can change any of these settings to be less strict!

We had a blast learning for key leaders in the industry through panels, Q&A and interactive settings from Dr. Aliza Pressman, Developmental Psychologist, and Nicole Lopez, Global Director of Youth Safety Policy at Meta. I left feeling way more equipped to deal with the platform with my teens! You can learn more about Instagram’s tools and resources for parents via link in my bio!
