Happy Tuesday everyone!! I hope you all had a really wonderful weekend! Mine actually ended up being a little unexpected!! There were some low moments and some really high moments of my weekend! For starters two out of three kids got sick! One with a trip to the Emergency department. Luckily nothing serious! We were meant to have a family day on Sunday at the Zoo, but instead I was at home in bed and on the couch all day with Judah. He had really high fevers and was just miserable. Thankfully he is feeling better and an upside is the girls got to have an entire day with their dad at the Zoo which is rare and so special! On Monday I had to work but Ben took the kids to march in the MLK parade downtown Sacramento. I was so proud of them all! It was so fun and memorable for the kids!
Last week I shared about my nursing career! Along with being a nurse I am a worship leader at Jesus Culture Sacramento. A really exciting moment for me this weekend, was getting back the demo on a song that I will be singing on the next Jesus Culture collaborative album. EEEKK!! I have been waiting to share this really exciting news with you all, because to be honest, it doesn’t feel real and we are at the beginning stages of making this all come to life!! The live recording will be going on at JC Sacramento throughout the end of this month and February. My particular song will be recorded on February 12th. If you are in the area make sure you come out!! I can’t believe I shared that! It makes it that much more real!! Be on the look out for a post re-capping the recording! I can’t wait to share all of this with you!! Also, if you are in the area in March, I will be leading worship at our annual conference here in the Sacramento region! Now that you know alllll about me (JKJK)!! On to this outfit! How fun is this hem frill!?!?!? I spotted this killer sale item at Zara last week and had to snag it! Not only is it so fun but it is green and I am loving green at the moment. It doesn’t hurt that greenery is the Pantone Color of the year as well! I paired this dress with this super fun choker and these white sneakers! I thought, let me change it up a bit! I always have a heel on because I am 5’1″ but I decided that this look needed a pop of white and some sneakers!
