This year marks ten years of being a mom! I don’t know where the time has gone, but it has gone! Ava, my oldest, turns 10 in June! I literally blinked and she has hit double digits! Savannah is 9 this year and Judah just turned 7. Not only are they all getting older, but they are inches away from passing me in height! I have been living in a constant state of shock these past few weeks! I keep saying to Ben “Look how big they are!!”
When the girls were little I used to love dressing them alike! It didn’t happen as much as I would have liked as Ava went through a major tomboy stage from age 3 til about age 8! When I was lucky enough she agreed to dress like her sister and sometimes even dress like me! It is one of my favorite things to see the girls in clothing that matches!
It is rare, but sometimes the girls and I get away, just us! If we are going to have some girl time the first thing we are going to do is get a yummy beverage from Starbucks or Peet’s coffee, usually followed by a delicious lunch and ending with some shopping! We love to shop! I mean, who doesn’t?! Ben and J can do without being in the stores but the girls and I love to do a little damage! It is so fun to do this with the girls one on one and have that special bonding time with them where we can have endless girl talk!!
These head to toe looks from Old Navy are just darling! For as long as I can remember Old Navy has always been known for their vibrant colors and fun prints! Not only are their pieces fun and happy, but they have always been affordable for me! I love this combo of gingham with the banana prints finished off with the denim jackets!
