It is no secret that I love Kimpton properties! I have stayed at a Kimpton 3 times this year! You can see a recap of my stay earlier this year at the Kimpton Sawyer hotel here. Boutique hotels are awesome. They have their signature expressions as a brand that are threaded through each location. The Kimpton Buchanan was no exception! Loved our stay and I cannot wait to return with the fam!
The guy at the front desk of our hotel told us we had to check out this breakfast spot. It took us a few days to get there because every day we drove by the line was wrapped around the building! This is always a good sign, right? We finally got in line one morning and it was worth the 40 min wait! All I am going to say is #MillionairesBacon…. life changing!!
This flower shop was lovely! I loved all of the flower options so much but I think what stood out to me the most was the kindness of all the staff that worked there! They literally let us roam freely, take pics and check things out without question!
We have visited Baker Beach at least 5 times prior to this visit as a family. We discovered something very peculiar this time around! Lot’s of nude men! Just an FYI, it is a nude beach and you will see lots of naked men, especially in the afternoon! A memory we will never forget!
I am trying to jog my memory to think if I have ever had Cuban food. I don’t think I have because if I did I would have remembered. Media Noche is one of those locations you don’t forget. The food was delicious and the aesthetic was so pretty! I am looking forward to going back!
I didn’t have a favorite spot, time or location so to speak during our weekend, but if I had to pick a highlight, the Sutro Baths would be one. I felt the history and closeness to God I always feel when close to the water. It was surreal and breathtaking! A must-see!
If you love Italian food then you must eat at Scala’s Bistro! The food is all fresh, made in house day of and to die for! Make this stop a priority if ever visiting SF!
GAHHH! It finally happened! We all got together at the same place and the same time. I have been Insta-besties with Angelle since we both started our blogs in early 2015. We were each others cheer leaders and the person we would run to for blogging advice. I was always so drawn to Angelle’s effortless style and big voice for Jesus on this platform. Shortly thereafter I Insta-met Jessica. She became my other Insta-bestie. I was constantly floored and inspired by her creativity, individuality and magnificent faith in Christ. We managed to meet up in early 2017! We had one of my favorite all time shoots ever! You can check our looks out together here and here! My time meeting Jessica IRL was SO brief! We couldn’t wait to meet up again! Angelle and Jessica often crossed paths because where Angelle lives is where Jessica’s grandmother resides!! #Jelly! This past year has been super tough for Jessica health-wise. She has recently started to feel better which has been such huge break through and answer to prayer. We decided we needed to meet up and celebrate!
Thanks to Alaska Airlines and their most west coast flight options both of my girls were able to come to SF and hang with me! Dream come true!! Angelle flew in from New Orleans and Jessica flew in from Dallas! As you can see from all the pictures we did a lot! Not only did we do a little sightseeing, eating and playing dress up a ton, we shot so many looks and took a ton of pictures! It helps that Jessica is an amazinggg photographer. I am trying to think about a favorite moment or a favorite day that we had together. I can’t think of one specific time that was the best. It was all amazing and I cannot wait to hang with these inspiring, world-changers again! All of our activities above are not necessarily in order but it is a glimpse of all the magic that takes place where we are together! I cannot wait for adventure #2!! I know it will be epic! Lots of laughing and new memories made! Again, a special thank you to Alaska Airlines for making this girls trip not only possible but seamless and easy!
