It’s that time of year again! We are just weeks away from Thanksgiving! I love sitting together with family, sharing memories and eating delicious food. This Thanksgiving is particularly special. My parents are here from CT and this time for good! They have moved to CA and we get to be together for every single holiday. Something I will never take for granted ever again! Next week I will share about our Thanksgiving menu, but for now lets talk about the elegant Thanksgiving tablescape!
I have been wanting to style a table with the help of other creatives for quite some time now. I feel like bringing creative minds together and executing an idea is really special and can be a lot of fun! Mary of Fox Glove and Fern, pictured above is an expert with flowers! Everything you see here with colors and floral choices was her! I sent her a mood board and a general idea of what I wanted and she brought the entire thing to life. She used some of my favorite flowers. One in particular being the Orchids along with Roses, Smoke bush, Chocolate lace and Ruscus. I love the idea of entertaining, but I know my strengths! I am not the best cook and I feel lost when decorating, but I have a lot of fun ideas in my head. I don’t think that is a bad thing. I think it is important to hone in on your strengths and then pull on others for areas where you lack. Liz from Choice Arrows Creations did the lettering and I am in love. I love her caligraphy style so much. Elegant, simple and tasteful. This Thanksgiving we are doing something a little differently. Instead of just going around the table and saying what we are thankful for, we are going to take 5 minutes to write it down first. I love a good solid time of reflection.
The silverware, napkins and table-cloth are all from Target!! Seriously such a steal. Sarah, Mary and myself collaboratively brought together everything from our homes to create this table. I think it turned out great! What will your Thanksgiving table look like this year?! In case you missed part one of this series, you can check it out here. Thank you as always for stopping by the blog!! Next week I will be sharing another fun recipe perfect for Thanksgiving dessert! Be sure to stop by to read then!
