San Luis Obispo, or SLO for short, is a stunning coastal town in central California known for its vineyards, farm-to-table cuisine, and pretty laid-back lifestyle. Back in January my agency Lola & Ivy organized a three-day influencer trip to SLO, which included connecting with our managers one-on-one, meeting with brands, and, of course, lots of wine tasting.
The trip began with a meet and greet at the hotel we were staying at on an insanely gorgeous roof top. The other influencers, that came from various parts of the country, were excited to get to know each other and finally meet in real life. Lola & Ivy had a diverse group of influencers with varying niches, ranging from fashion and beauty to travel and food and so on.
Over the next few days, we had the opportunity to connect with our managers one-on-one to discuss goals, strategies, and collaborations and honestly just relax and have a good time! This personalized attention from our managers was a valuable opportunity for us to gain insights and guidance in our careers as well as get that special one-on-one time.
In addition to these meetings, we also had the chance to meet with various brands and companies, such as local wineries, restaurants, and fashion boutiques. The most impactful and special time for me was the LTK panel that was set up for us. I learned so much and felt really honored to be there.
One of the highlights of the trip was the wine tasting experiences. SLO is known for its excellent wine, and the we were treated to tastings at some of the most renowned wineries in the region such as my new favorite Dao Vineyards. The view at this winery was to die for. I cannot wait to go back with my husband!!!
Overall, the three-day annual influencer trip in San Luis Obispo organized by Lola & Ivy was a huge success. This was my first trip with this agency and they went above and beyond!! We were able to connect with our managers, other influencers, meet with brands, and experience the best that SLO has to offer. This trip not only provided valuable opportunities for my professional growth but also allowed us to form new friendships and create memories that we will never forget. Feeling spoiled and overwhelmingly grateful!!!
