So, I’m pretty sure that this is the first time since I was 13 that I put on a pair of shorts in public!! It’s just not my thing! We all have our hang ups and insecurities. I’m only 5’1″ tall and my soccer legs are one of mine! However, like most women, I’m working on being confident, comfortable and brave in my own skin. Really desiring to be grateful and happy with the way God made me!!

Anywhoo! About this majorly cute outfit! (I’m a fan at least!). This top was one of my first purchases out here in California, at what has grown to be my favorite consignment/ thrift shop. I love lace and anything with netting. These shorts were purchased at the same place, but given to me by a friend. I love the detail and the fabric is quality! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you know that I’m all about attempting to look like a million dollars but paying wayyy less!!

I hope your first week of spring has been great and hopefully warming up for those of you on the East Coast!!

    I’m sure you’ll be flooded with comments similar to this first one pretty soon, but Ruthie… Your legs are absolutely gorgeous!!! It still baffles me how many things we subjectively see as flawed on our own bodies, but others view as perfect! It also causes me to be braver in my own skin and ignore my silly hangups, especially when my husband is there to champion and cheer me on. Thanks for the post. And please, keep wearing those shorts that show off your hot legs! <3 Love and hugs!
