Day 1: The M Resort Spa & Casino
Hey there friends!! Early June, Ben and I went to Vegas. The original purpose was for me to lead worship at a local conference! Because it would be only one day Ben and I decided to stay a little longer and get a feel for Vegas! The focus of this post today is to share where Ben and I stayed to highlight what we loved and hopefully give you options if you ever visit Las Vegas!! Our first stop was the M Resort Spa and Casino!! I really enjoyed this spot!! Our room was beautiful and I loved the pool!! Just a heads up, they do check your bags prior to entering the pool area and you cannot bring in professional cameras. Ok so let me highlight what you can expect at this hotel!
- Over 92,000 square feet of gaming (Casino Life!! LOL)
- A variety of dining options… Food, drinks, coffee, ice cream… you name it!!
- 23,000 square foot world-class spa— STUNNING… I wish I had time to enjoy this… I would just stare as we walked by everytime!
- Pavilion, convention and wedding center!
- 100,000 square feet of pool and entertainment space. The main pool area features two, 5,460 square foot heated, infinity edge pools and two large hot tubs surrounded by fire torches……BEAUTIFUL!!

Day 2: The Mandalay
- The Size of a small city!!
- Mandalay Bay has 3,309 hotel rooms
- 24 elevators and a casino of 135,000 square feet
- 12,000-seat Mandalay Bay Events Center
- A mall inside of the hotel!
- Over 30 restaurants
- On site entertainment and exhibts
- Casinos gallore
- A 94,000 + Sq. foot Aquarium
You get the idea! This place is huge! In fact they have an on site tram that can take you from the small city into the city of Las Vegas! lol

The wave pool was crowded but we still got in and cooled off! There were multiple pools on site but we decided it was time for lunch and a quick nap! We had lunch at the Burger Bar and then came back to our room for a quick nap! We ended up sleeping for two hours but woke up ready to take on the evening!! Ben is all about exploring so I have learned to shut my mouth and just follow his lead! He has a great sense of direction and always makes sure we hit all the important land marks when we are visiting a new city! We hit the strip and walked around “New York City.”
The location of the Mandalay is great because it is right by the strip and all other major hotels. As I had mentioned early, we took the tram from the Mandalay to explore the city! It was busy and exciting to see what actually goes on in sin city! I am a people watcher so this was totally intriguing for me!

Bellagio— this is where I want to stay next time!! STUNNING
The Fountains Of Bellagio- These start at 8 pm and then go off every 15 min! So fun!!
The Bellagio was exquisite. I mean, I felt like I was in someone’s mansion, just walking through. Every detail was so posh and perfectly put together! I told Ben next time I want to stay there! What is interesting about all of these hotels is that they make all the pricing for the rooms extremely affordable. As you can imagine a lot of their revenue comes from the casinos within the hotels! If I were to be honest I loved both hotels. The M Resort had the best room service I have ever experienced in my life. I felt like royalty. They come in, set up a nicely set table for you, uncover all your food and make sure you’re ok! I also liked the spacing and set up of the room and bathroom at the M resort! Ben and I liked the Mandalay better because of the size and location. You didn’t have to leave the property ever! Hair, nails, massage, shopping, food, you name it, it is all on site! I also felt like the staff at the Mandalay were extremely kind and accommodating. I felt like they went out of their way and I always appreciate that! I honestly didn’t even capture the vast capacity of this place! Hopefully you were able to gather an idea from both!! Thank you as always for stopping by the blog!! Have an amazing week ahead!! Ps. I have never been to Las Vegas but it is a place my husband and I want to visit soon! We have been to LA and San Diego a few times with my girlfriends who live in LA and they have been a few times and love it!

What fun! I haven’t been to Vegas in a while and I’m relatively close! The M Resort looks amazing!
When I went to Vegas for the first time last year we stayed at the Luxor. If I have my way, I want to get into Aria or the Cosmopolitan. The Cosmopolitan has a love for all things shiny and it fits my personality well.
What a beautiful hotel! I’ve been invited to Vegas about 20 times in my life and have always passed on it. One of these days I’m going to go just to see what all the fuss is about 🙂

I’ve never been to Vegas (neither has the hubs), so this is SO HELPFUL. I was always skeptical of Vegas TBH, but it looks so pretty!!

It’s been too long since I had a trip to Vegas! I’ve stayed at Caesar’s Palace and the one hotel that’s like Mardis Gras themed, but I’d love to stay at more of them. So nice!
This is a beautiful hotel. I stayed at the Hard Rock and the Venetian the two times I went. The first time was in July and I said never again lol it felt like my skin was melting off.
