Considering date nights can be so rare now-a-days, I’ve really tried to get creative with it. Often times we don’t have nights open, but we do have some time during the day. So recently I decided to do a little picnic date with my man!

This was probably one of my favorite dates to this day. It was so casual and relaxing, but we really felt like we had some purposeful quality time together in a way that we wouldn’t normally do.

Since this was a date rather than a whole family outing, we went simple with some Pomelo wine and a nice charcuterie board. It was so fun to capture the moment with this INSTAX Square camera I had just bought. The things that I would say you ABSOLUTELY need for the perfect picnic is a waterproof picnic blanket, an extra blanket in case it gets chilly, and a good picnic carrier for all your food! All that plus the food, the wine,  and the company made this the most perfect picnic I think I’ve ever had!
