I truly prefer loud, bright colors and prints but find I don’t actually wear them a ton. There was a time when that’s all I bought and then I realized that those types of pieces aren’t as timeless and repeatable as your black, gray, white, tan, brown tones. I feel they compliment my skin tone and I really love how “happy” brighter colors are. I’ve just become, in a sense, more boring and money conscious not wanting to purchases items that can only be worn once or twice.
This look however, didn’t cost me more than 30.00 including the shoes (not including the clutch! Shhh.) The top is from H&M last year (8.00) and the skirt (12.00) and shoes (8.00) were both thrifted. I love bringing the old with the “new” and for me these shoes are a new purchase this year and completely changes the look of this outfit from ways I have previously styled it! I’m all about getting creative with what I already own and making old items look and feel new!! So are you ready for Spring or what?!?! I absolutely LOVE this time of year!!!
