Last weekend Ben and I  headed up to Napa for a quick trip overnight! The weather was absolutely beautiful! It was the perfect day to be up there.  We dropped the kids off at school and started our quick getaway with a latte and some good music! The focus of our trip was the Spa Terra at Meritage Resort! Before I go any further, this was definitely not like any spa I had been to before! Every detail was jaw dropping!

The Spa is located on a the lush acreage of the Meritage Resort.  Right above the Estate Cave and Spa is a stunning Vineyard.  Ben and I walked the grounds and just enjoyed the views and the matchless weather that day, right before my noon appointment.  I honestly did not want to leave.  Noon came around and it was time for my appointment.  I was greeted by the lovely woman at the front desk who escorted me to the changing/shower room area which was like nothing I had ever seen before.  Beautiful robes, eucalyptus steam room, Jacuzzi  and endless showers.  This was a TRUE spa you guys! I felt like royalty! After I got my cozy robe on I headed to meet my masseuse Heather.

Heather had such a calm demeanor about her! I loved her sweet personality.  I was scheduled for a 50 min Swedish massage.  The temp of the room was perfect, every thing was just right.  My massage was incredible! I did not want it to end.  I just laid there afterwards thinking, do I really have to get up now?!!? The spa offers a variety of treatments in addition to the Swedish massage such as: Deep tissue, herbal compress, couples massages and massages for moms to be!
