A New Spin With Shoe Carnival

It’s almost that time of year again…Back to school! My kiddos start school in about a month and I promised myself that I would be ahead of the game this year! I went ahead and purchased all of their sneakers and backpacks through Shoe Carnival about a week ago! Ben is headed to school again next semester, so he got some much-needed sneakers and a bookbag as well! I’m realizing more and more as a working mom, the importance of being a little bit organized to avoid stress! Sometimes lower stress means planning ahead! Keep on reading to hear about our new spin on back to school looks with Shoe Carnival!

We put a new spin on our back-to-school looks this year with both our shoe choices and backpacks! Typically, the kids go for a louder shoe, but this year we put a new spin on a more casual style! Although Ava’s shoe lit up in a bunch of different colors, the sole was a classic white! She absolutely loves these Skechers Energy Lights and I love how fun they are! Savannah is all about comfort! She loves style as well, but comfort is really important to her! These particular shoes are Roxy brand which is a new designer for us, but they are comfortable and cute so she is a happy girl! When Judah saw these shoes his face lit up!! He feels like such a cool kid going into kindergarten, and they look so good on him!! Ben and I decided to try something new for our choice! Ben typically goes with Adidas, but he fell in love with these Nike’s and I have never owned a pair of Sperry’s so this was really exciting for me! Every single shoe purchase goes with so much in all of our closets! Perfect for school but also perfect to wear on the weekends and for running around! The best part is they are absolutely perfect for transitioning from Summer to Fall!

As you can see we all have new backpacks! Continuing the idea of a new spin on looks this year, we chose cool backpacks that really fit who we were and our personality, which was a lot of fun! I think what was most surprising about purchasing these backpacks was the price! Typically, I feel like backpacks start at $50 especially, if they are name brand! Every single one of our backpacks were affordable, name brand, and great quality! There’s nothing like not having to buy another backpack in the middle of the school year! I would much rather get a quality bag than having to buy twice during the year! I love all of these bags, but mine is my favorite! I love the color and style of this Converse Go bag so much!! Ava Is sold on camo, so this Nike Brasilia camo bag (may be out of stock online, but you can find in your local store!) was perfect for her. Judah loves the color blue, so the same bag was a win for him as well!! Savannah went with a little color with the Roxy Sugar Baby 2 backpack and Ben went back to his old ways with the Adidas Prime iii backpack lol!!

If you have been following me for a while then you know that I love Shoe Carnival! I bought a few items over the Spring season and continue to love those pieces!
