Last week at the tail end of our time away, we ended up in San Diego.  This was planned of course, but boy were we looking forward to it! Prior to San Diego, we were in Mexico and the weather was boiling!! I was looking forward to resting in cooler temps for sure! I don’t know if any of you have been to San Diego, but there is a reason they say it is the most perfect weather! Everyday was 70-75 degrees! Seriously, my happy place! Weather is everything to me!  I could not get over the breeze and the cool ocean air! It was amazingggg, and I think we found our annual vacation spot!  Before we left we wanted to take family beach pictures. I will most likely be using these for Christmas cards this year! We choose Coronado Beach!

I got a lot of recommendations via Instagram on where to grab coffee and food as well as what beaches to visit! We only had time for two beaches and this one stands out to me biggg timeee!! We arrived at Coronado Beach around sunset.  It was so picturesque, something you grab right out of a magazine! The sand was soft and had a little sparkle to it.  As you can see from these pictures the area is just beautiful.  It has been voted one of America’s finest beaches for a reason! Besides being beautiful theres so much you can do at Coronado beach!  They have beach volleyball, surfing, multiple fire pits where you can have night time s’mores, fishing and tide pools! The surrounding neighborhoods are stunning and parking is free! We loved our time there but it wasn’t long enough! When we return to San Diego this will be a place we will be parking for the day!! Side note: My kids are getting SO big and I can’t even handle it!!! GAHH!!  Also, for those of you that are curious, my dress can be found here!Ok, I am done for now!     I lived in San Diego for 4 years and my husband actually worked on Coronado! It’s such a GORGEOUS place! Totally wish I could afford to live on the island! ha!

    I agree that is a beautiful beach. We used to go there all the time but it’s been years. We lived in Phoenix so it was only a short drive, but now we’re in Chicago. I miss it!
