Athleta Extended Sizing Picks

So much of this year so far has been making sure that I am taking care of my body. I made the decision last December to take back control of what I eat and how I manage my health. It’s only been a little over a month and it has been one of the most difficult but rewarding months of my life.

One thing that I’ve been focusing on is focusing on things that inspire me to keep going and pursuing my health goals and I can’t even tell you how motivated I feel in my Athleta activewear. I’ve always loved this company, but my support for them has only grown now that they have launched their expanded range of styles in 1X to 3X sizes. I absolutely love the size inclusivity that they now have with sizes ranging now from XXS to 3X.

I’m an avid believer that, when it comes to workout clothes, it’s so much more than just finding the right fit. What you wear when you workout can not only affect your mental game, but even your physical game. I can’t tell you how many sports bras I’ve had to go through simply based off them not fitting right and, when things like that happen, it can really damage your mentality towards working out.

That’s why, in development of this launch, Athleta worked directly with active women who wear sizes 1X to 3X to refit and test each piece in order to get the perfect fit and performance for all women. They knew it’s not just about fit, it’s about performance and how you feel wearing the clothes. Through all their sizes, each piece retains the same design, intent, and fit.

These new expanded sizes launched on January 18^th with 350 styles in both stores and online and they will continue to launch more and more styles monthly with 500 styles available on February 16^th.

As a mid-sized women, seeing more and more size inclusion makes me so happy. I feel so incredible in my Athleta pieces and I’m so excited for so many more women than ever before to feel beautiful and powerful in their own set.
