It’s really crazy how not having the right amount of mental capacity can’t hold you back from doing simple daily tasks! Many of you know for the past few years I had been working two jobs and I was super overwhelmed and mostly stressed the majority of the time!
One thing I have not been good at admittedly, is making the bed! I heard somewhere that making your bed really sets the tone for your day and I think I agree with that! Having an unmade bed definitely shows some of the chaos in my life. One of my 2021 goals was to make my bed more days out of the week than not!
The motivation really came into play when I got a new bedspread! Nordstrom has some of the most beautiful bed linens I have found in a long time! Plus, as a member of The Nordy Club, I was able to get them shipped to me for free!
This particular comforter came with pillow shams and has made it really easy to make the bed. I put on the new bedspread and new pillows and, when Ben got home from work, he was shocked! That along with the new lamps really elevated our space. Not only is it beautiful, but it’s also warm!
For the past few years Benjamin and I had actually used separate blanket just because we hadn’t found one big enough. This one is the perfect size and also complements all the other details of our master bedroom space! If you see the picture below, you’ll notice that my skills for decorating have come a very long way LOL!
