Off To Explore! Revival At The Sawyer:
Notice Ben is in the pool and I am not!! LOVE the outdoor pool area outside of the Revival! The pool is heated but that was not enough to convince me to get in!

Where do I even begin! Our staycation at the Kimpton Sawyer hotel was everything I could have asked for and more! We arrived on Friday evening around 330 pm. Check in was a breeze! The staff was SO accommodating and welcoming. When we got up to our room we were surprised with a nice bottle of wine, chocolate and fruit! The view from our room was incredible, we could see the capital! As you can see from the pictures above, our bathroom was something from the future! I want this exact tub in my house one day!! After dropping off our bags and getting settled we did some exploring. We mad ourselves familiar with our surroundings and went back to our room to relax until our 615 dinner reservation at The Grange! A must try if you are ever in the area!
The next day we slept in and had breakfast in bed! Such a treat! We seriously felt like royalty!! After a super chill morning we headed over to Punch Bowl Social which happens to be right on site! Punch Bowl Social is not a part of the Kimpton Sawyer, but it is just so nice because it is attached! That was the most action we had for the day!The nice part about a staycation is not really having an agenda. No where to be. We were overdue for a restful weekend and that is exactly what we got. We spent the afternoon watching movies, eating food and cuddling in our nice cozy bed! For dinner we headed to Revival At The Sawyer (right on site) for yummy bites. EVERYTHING on the menu is SO good. Nothing will disappoint. We got their famous Tator Tots, Main Lobster Corn Dogs, and Duck Confit Wings. DE-LISH! Heads up, there is a dress code, which I do appreciate! No jeans, dress nice for the Revival!
I wanted to mention that every morning there is complimentary breakfast, which is really good! Along with breakfast there is amazing coffee in the lobby provided by Old Soul, a really good local coffee shop here in Sacramento! In the evenings they have wine hour in the lobby from 5-6. A few other amazing things about a staycation here at the Kimpton Sawyer is all the things to do locally! I had mentioned earlier that we had dinner at The Grange. It was so close that Ben and I walked to dinner which is always so nice. The Golden 1 Center is a stones throw away, literally! Time your staycation with a game or an event! During our time there a bull riding event was happening at the Golden 1 Center! We walked to Temple Coffee in the mornings. The Starbucks Reserve is also walking distance from the Kimpton Sawyer. We stayed in our room for movies, but there is a movie theater, Century Theaters walking distance as well. The capital is nearby and so on! We chose the relaxing route for this staycation and I am so glad we did! If you are wondering if you should do a staycation here at the Kimpton Sawyer I hope I convinced you to do so!
Special thanks to Kimpton Sawyer for hosting Ben and I! Can’t wait to come back!
