advertisement I can remember exactly when I got really into fashion! I was in middle school and was starting to make money with my paper route. I also started to care more about what people thought about me! I think it’s pretty normal for a 12-year-old to start caring a little bit more! I remember buying a new shirt every week with my hard-earned weekly $25 cash! Looking cute was top priority! As I headed into high school I got even more into fashion and remember thinking, It’s OK to repeat your jeans but it’s never OK to repeat the top! You want people to think that you have a lot! (The things young adults think about, although, I still don’t really like to repeat anything! LOL)
In my high school the kids were really focused on high-end sneakers and name brand everything. I definitely couldn’t afford any of that, but I wanted it to appear that I had a lot and I always wanted to appear put together! You know how it is, in high school everybody’s looking at each other and there’s lots of comparison. I really cared about appearance and fashion sense and I would say that is when I really started to step up my “fashion game”!
Fast forward a few years and here we are. I’ve never been more into fashion and crazy about trends in stylish pieces than now. I love these things and they continue to make me super happy! I started my blog in 2015 and ever since then it has been a major dream of mine to go to New York Fashion Week. I wanted to go every year since I started blogging, but last year was the first year I really made the effort to go. It didn’t work out for several reasons and I knew it was God’s hand and timing! I was definitely sad though and maybe even cried a little because I couldn’t go. I have learned over time that everything certainly happens for a reason!
I get to go this year and experience New York fashion week for the very first time. I read a few articles and know a little bit of what to expect, but also know there’s a lot that I cannot be prepared for! One thing I can get ready for, however, is comfort and that’s what I want to talk to you about today! Comfort is of impost importance to me these days! That is why I am SO glad Dr. Scholl’s has designed insoles for high heels and all kinds of shoes so that while I am walking around NYC I am not uncomfortable! These insoles are clear and easy to insert! I purchased both the Dr. Scholl’s Stylish StepTM High Heel Relief Insoles and the Dr. Scholl’s Stylish StepTM Ball Of Foot Cushions for High Heels at Target! I don’t know about you but I am in Target 2-3 times a week! So easy and convenient! I had so many options to choose from! The insoles can easily be found in the foot care aisle near the pharmacy! I don’t know if you have the Cartwheel app, but you can save on Stylish StepTM at Target with a Cartwheel offer!! WIN, WIN Lastly, starting 9/9, you can also head here to BOGO 25% off #DrScholls.
Are you going to NYFW?! Have you gone?! What are you looking forward to the most?! I am looking forward to the shows for sure, but even more so, I cannot wait to see all the wild street style and even step out of my comfort zone with looks as well! Be sure to follow along on IG for all the fun! Thank you as always for stopping by the blog!!
