Easter is the one time of year that I make every effort to coordinate all of our outfits! Including Ben… However, this year is the first time that he had to work Easter weekend :(.

We are on a pretty tight budget so I really couldn’t go crazy buying clothes for a one time occasion! So I mixed and matched things we had and found a few new things on sale! Savannah is wearing Ava’s dress from last year, Judah’s pants were bought earlier this year, Ava’s dress and Judah’s top was less than 15.00 at H&M and J’s converse were a gift. My shoes are probably 4 years old, the kimono was on sale at Charlotte Russe and my dress was less than 20.00 at Marshall’s.

The trick with coordinating all of our outfits for an occasion, is to plan ahead and buy things gradually. I started buying things probably a month and a half ago. The challenge of working within a budget and working with what I have forces me to get creative and I enjoy it!! The main piece I built our outfits from was my dress. I made the statement and put everyone’s outfits together from there. So fun!!

Truly, way more important than what we were wearing this Easter, is the cross and what Jesus did for our freedom, our sins, our healing, our life. This song has been ministering me all week long. Please check it out. “It Was Finished” by Bryan and Katie Torwalt.
